Worried about Coronavirus? Practice Social Distancing

Social distancing is a means to protect yourself and prevent the spread of diseases.  Many diseases spread between people through the air, and the chances increase in places where large crowds gather and share the same space.  Social distancing moves you away from this space by doing two things:

  1. Keep a distance of 6 feet from other people.  Sneezes and coughs can travel several feet; and
  2. Avoid large crowds.  The space is smaller, and with more people, it is more likely that someone is infected and can spread the disease around.

The drawback to social distancing is its disruption of your routine.  It may cause you to go to the grocery store when it is the least busy, which may be at an inconvenient time for you.  It can disrupt your banking if you regularly visit us to make deposits or withdrawals.  We have several services that support social distancing, and you can still do your regular transactions.  For example, you can make your purchases online with our debit card, or you can check balances, transfer money, deposit checks, and pay bills through our mobile app.  You can still bank while keeping a safe distance from others.

Here is a list of our services that support social distancing:

  • Mastercard Debit
  • WEPCO Mobile App
  • PAL Plus Online Account Access
  • Bill Payer
  • eStatements
  • Drive-up services
  • ATMs
  • Remote Deposit Capture
  • PAL Telephone Access
