Fraudulent phone calls, text or email: If you recieve a call, text or email in our name (WEPCO), claiming that debit cards “have been deactivated or have fraudulent activities on your account, etc." THIS IS NOT FROM WEPCO. This is a ID Theft scam called VISHING, SMISHING or PHSHING! Do NOT give out your card number or personal information. If you have done so, please contact us immediately. If our offices are closed, please call 1-800-543-5073 to have your card immediately blocked.
If you get any valid call back numbers or emails, please forward them to phishing@wepcofcu.com. Remember, caller ID numbers are NOT valid. They can be spoofed or covered up, hiding the originator's phone number or web address.
